Congratulations to the winners of the Ulster Softball league 2008 - Smokin' Aces

INFORMATION ON THE 2009 LEAGUE WILL FOLLOW SHORTLY!

This is the first year that the Ulster Softball League will be held in Northern Ireland. The 3 teams participating are: Aviators, Belfast Brawlers & Smokin' Aces. The teams will play each other twice, with 2 home and 2 away games.

The rules used during this league follow the 2008 ASA rulebook and the byelaws set down by Softball Ireland for the  Leinster League. 5 pts for win or walkover, 2 for a loss, 0 for a forfeit or conceding a walkover.
On Monday evenings the games start at 19:00. On Sunday afternoons the games start at 14:00. A maximum of 10 minutes can be given to a team if not sufficient players are present at the starting time.

Captains should fill out the match report (download here), the home captain is responsible for ensuring it is filled out and is sent/handed to a Softball Ulster official.
